New Brighton (UK) Today .

For visitors new to New Brighton High Life. New Brighton (Wirral UK) was the most popular holiday resort in the North West of England in the first half of the twentieth century. Situated on Liverpool bay and on the estuary of the river Mersey, It boasted world class open air swimming pools, miles of sandy beaches and top class entertainment. However, after several major events, the loss by fire of a few major attractions, the end of the Liverpool/New Brighton ferry service and the arrival of low cost package holiday to the continent, signalled changes for New Brighton.  This section of the site shows some of the scenes of New Brighton today and it's surrounding areas.  New Brighton is still a great place to live.
